Listen, observe, sense, perceive, understand the words of all you meet. But trust, exclusively, in yourself.

Never audition for affection. It prevents the flow, and reveals your need.

No one deserves your access. It must be earned and maintained. Only then given.

If you are always kind, a rude gesture is grand. If you are always rude, a kind gesture is grand.

Forgiveness is trust. Repetition is betrayal.

Think not of who you love, but who loves you. Not who you trust, but who trusts you. Not who you miss, but who misses you.

A good friend is equal, independent, and competitive. Is there whenever called. Otherwise remains aloof.

A friend is an enemy unrevealed. An enemy is a friend unrevealed. A true friend acts as both.
